Goldfingered

Article Abstract:

John 'Goldfinger' Palmer, who will shortly face conspiracy charges involving an alleged 20 million pounds sterling timeshare fraud, believes that he is the victim of a police conspiracy. He points out that he is not really involved in timeshare sales, and feels that this case has its origins in the Brinks-Mat case, when gold, platinum and diamonds worth 25 million pounds sterling were stolen from a security company in 1983. He was acquitted of melting down gold bullion stolen in this raid.
