Business: Attacked from Without and Undermined from Within?

Article Abstract:

Results of a survey and study of public affairs executives on issues relating to business and the media are presented. Results indicate that the educational background of public affairs executives resembles that of the journalist. These executives have degrees in the social sciences and the humanities rather than in business and engineering. Journalists and business executives were found to be in disagreement on a number of business and economic issues. They also differ on business-media relations. Management implications of the survey results are provided.

How to lose your inhibitions - dramatically

Experiences of participating in a Wild Dance weekend with the theme 'Vision and Regeneration in Winter's Tale' are discussed. The different insights gained by different people into mytho-drama as a way of using a dramatic text to explore the individual's emotional condition are considered. Particular attention is given to the way in which mytho-drama can unlock hidden emotions and encourage people to acknowledge things they have been trying to cover up.
