Inquiry ordered into doctor who supplied drugs to the Shah of Iran's daughter before her death

Article Abstract:

Mangad Iqbal, doctor to Princess Leila Pahlavi, the late Shah of Iran's daughter, has been accused by Paul Knapman, the Coroner in Westminster, London, England, of giving unsatisfactory accounts of the prescribed drugs he gave the princess before her death. Iqbal's records are now to be examined by CID officers.

Missing millions: MEP urges fraud squad inquiry

Article Abstract:

Jeffrey Archer, who has been convicted of perjury and forgery, is now facing the prospect of three investigations into schemes in which he was involved. The investigations will look at issues including alleged fraud relating to 57 million pounds sterling raised for Iraqi Kurds.

New Chinook inquiry vindicates families' quest

Article Abstract:

The UK government will not oppose an investigation by the House of Lords into the crash of an RAF Chinook helicopter in the Mull of Kintyre, Scotland, in Jun 1994. The Ministry of Defence had been accused of preventing attempts to clear the helicopter pilots of blame.
