Channel to wider horizons

Article Abstract:

As part of the constant move to integrate the nations belonging to the European Union (EU) a new initiative has been started, in which UK based professors teach international relations in Lille, France and in Brussels, Belgium. The students taking the courses benefit from improving their language skills and in developing a greater understanding of different cultures. Students from the UK should be aware of the increasingly competitive market particularly for those with linguistic skills. Some 14% of students studying at the University of Kent are from EU nations.
