It can't be him ... surely not ...

Article Abstract:

Brothers David and Steve Batt from Beckenham, England, became David Sylvian and Steve Jensen to market their band Japan. They had three Top Ten singles in 1982 and their album 'Tin Drum' was considered one of the best. They broke up when David found the work unsatisfying and fame not what he wanted. It had made him neurotic. He found spiritual comfort in the East. In 1993 he writes slow, melodic music. He collaborates with Robert Fripp, ex-King Crimson, who encouraged him to return to the stage.

Mr Big Ears and his brown bags

Article Abstract:

John Lloyd, creator of television comedy programmes 'Not the Nine O'Clock News,' 'Blackadder,' and 'Spitting Image,' heads a team planning a new radio concept, a comedy station. He turned down the chance to direct 'Naked Gun 3' in Hollywood to do this. Many comedians are enthusiastic and willing to present programmes. The group must apply for a commercial radio licence for the London area from the Independent Radio Authority by the beginning of June 1993.
