Covert operations

Article Abstract:

The film 'Patriot Games' is an adaptation of a Tom Clancy novel about ex-CIA agent Jack Ryan, directed by Australian Phillip Noyce. This is his first Hollywood film. He changed the anti-Irish aspect of the novel and made the plot less right-wing to achieve psychological and political balance. He handles action sequences unusually, creating tension through pre-knowledge.
