It's the new retro fashion for investment trusts

Article Abstract:

There are signs of a revival in the investment trust sector as many trusts begin to acknowledge what they must do to attract new retail investors. Many are taking advantage of the abolition of advanced corporation tax to buy back their shares, and stronger emphasis is being placed on shareholder value. The sector has been characterized by underperformance for some time, but it appears that this may now be coming to an end.
