Jeffrey Archer: you just can't put him down!

Jeffrey Archer is a millionaire, novelist, charity worker, and former politician . There are no real details to his background and summaries prove to be inaccurate. After becoming a charity fund raiser, he was elected to British Parliament in 1969 but resigned when bankrupt to become a thriller writer. In 1985 he became Conservative party deputy chairman but left following a scandal. His charity work for the Kurds left queries over allocation of funds.

Ahmed Shah Massoud

Politician and resistance leader Ahmed Shah Massoud was born in Baharak, Afghanistan, in 1953. He studied architecture and became involved in radical Islamic politics in the 1970s. He led resistance to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, and later opposed the Taliban.
