Mixed reaction from unions over nurses' 3.6% rise
Article Abstract:
The UK government has announced that midwives, nurses and health visitors will receive a pay rise of 3.6% from Apr 2002. The same rise will be granted to hospital doctors and dentists. The Royal College of Nursing and Unison state that the rise is insufficient.
