Outside, with time's whips and scorns
Article Abstract:
Colin Wilson, 61, is a polymath and has written a hundred books from science fiction to collections of unsolved mysteries. His first book The Outsider was a hit straight away and he became a celebrity on the strength of it, meeting Arthur Miller, Marilyn Monroe, Robert Graves and Charles Laughton among many other famous people. A scandal in his private life led to the tabloid papers and the critics maligning him and the sixties became lost years. The tide turned again with the publication of his first science fiction book The Mind Parasites.

You just can't get the staff
Article Abstract:
Hollywood film studios are increasingly focusing on animated films, which can be expensive to make but generally bring in very large profits. DreamWorks, for example, is looking to emulate the success of Walt Disney by linking with Silicon Graphics to develop its first animated film, 'Prince of Egypt,' which is due to be released in 1998. However, studios are now encountering a shortage of animators. The UK has always had a strong animation base, and many British animators are now being lured to the US.
