Serb leaders await judgment in purgatory
Article Abstract:
Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic and General Ratko Mladic are both sought by the International War Crimes Tribunal on charges of genocide. However, no real efforts are being made at present to arrest them. There are practical problems involved in taking action against General Mladic, as he has gone into hiding, while Karadzic travels around relatively freely and seems to have little to fear from Nato. However, some observers believe that it is only a matter of time before both men are disposed of by president Slobodan Milosevic of Serbia.

Ferocious Serb assault opens with murders
Article Abstract:
There has been a large-scale attack by Serb forces on the small town of Srbica, Kosovo, Yugoslavia. This attack included the murder of more than 20 ethnic Albanians there. The Albanians, many of whom have had their homes destroyed, are now fleeing the town. There has also been a mass exodus from villages around Malisevo, Kosovo, 20 miles to the south of Srbica, following heavy shooting. These developments indicate that the Serb offensive in Kosovo is moving south.
