Serbs show off spoils of 'holy war.' (Serb army displays items captured from ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, Yugoslavia)

Article Abstract:

The Serb army has displayed a number of items which it claims were captured from ethnic Albanian fighters in Kosovo, Yugoslavia. These included Kalahnikov rifles, heavy machine-guns, anti-tank weapons and rocket-propelled grenades. Journalists viewing the haul were in some doubt as to the real origins of two boxes of Albanian-language Korans. These appeared to have come from the Muslim school in Tirana, Albania, but representatives of the school have dismissed their presence in Kosovo as Serb propaganda.

Fleeing Serbs burn land they love

Article Abstract:

Serbs fleeing from Kosovo, Yugoslavia, as Nato troops take control of the province and ethnic Albanians return have been burning ethnic Albanian homes as they leave. The Serbs are leaving in a defiant mood, leaving widespread devastation behind them. In Pec, the town centre has been almost totally destroyed by fire, and not a single Albanian house remains standing. Local ethnic Albanians report violent attacks on their community by the Serbs.
