The parents who cheat for their children
Article Abstract:
A survey undertaken by secondary schools in Bromley, England, indicates that a significant minority of parents are prepared to deceive the most popular schools in order to secure places there for their children. Some parents will provide a false address within the catchment area of their preferred school, while others will undergo a 'conversion' to gain admission for their children to a school linked with a particular denomination. This is becoming a serious problem across the UK as one in five children is now denied their first choice of school.
