Article Abstract:
Psychotherapist Susie Orbach greatly dislikes attracting any form of publicity. For this reason, she found it very difficult to deal with media attention when it became known that she was treating Diana, Princess of Wales. Her parents' relationship was stormy, and she had a complicated relationship with her mother. For these reasons, she is reluctant to talk about her past. She is particularly interested in how people's insides create their outsides, and regards Freudian definitions as merely a framework in which to operate.
