Morality must be enforced by law

Article Abstract:

Those who oppose the repeal of Section 28 argue that this would lead to the promotion of homosexuality. They justify their argument with two misconceptions: that homosexuality is unnatural and disgusting. This is the viewpoint that led to the introduction of Section 28 in the first place. The regrettable aspect of this latest episode in the struggle for gay equality is that, even when Section 28 is repealed, irrational opposition to homosexuality will persist. There is now a need for sexual orientation discrimination legislation, giving bisexuals, lesbians and gays the same legal protection that is enjoyed by women and racial minorities.

Article Abstract:

There is evidence that the increased use of classroom assistants in UK schools has had positive effects. Some observers feel that the work of classroom assistants is very basic, but in fact it can play a very significant role in helping teachers to ensure that children's achievements are recognized and displayed.
