Priest Alastair Haggart trained at Edinburgh Theological College after gaining a degree from Durham University, England. He served his curacy at St Mary's Cathedral in Glasgow, Scotland, and was later Provost of St Paul's Cathedral, Dundee, Scotland, for 12 years. He was elected Bishop of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1975 after having served for a time as Principal of the city's Theological College. He gained a reputation for having unwavering confidence in the faith.

The Right Rev Douglas Feaver

Article Abstract:

Priest Douglas Feaver gained a double First in History and Theology at Keble College, Oxford, England. He began his working life as curate at St Albans Cathedral, later becoming Canon and Sub-Dean. He had a successful 14-year ministry at St Mary's, Nottingham, England, and was Bishop of Peterborough, England, between 1972 and 1984. He was particularly influential among younger clergy, and was respected for his contributions to diocesan publications.
