The challenge: turn Labour into a winner

Article Abstract:

The Labour Party is re-examining its usage of advertising. The Shadow Communications Agency will probably be disbanded. Some party members feel this network of advertising employees undertook politicians' tasks during the 1992 election. The new framework is expected to give the party more control. Outsiders will be sought to provide advertising, party political broadcasts, polling and qualitative research. A specific agency may be appointed, but not all agencies are willing to undertake the large workload.

Dark clouds that turn winter into a nightmare

Article Abstract:

A chemical deficiency in the brain is thought to cause depression associated with cloudy or overcast weather. A shortfall in Serotonin affects the brain's communication system causing the 'winter blues', that is depression, insomnia and low resistance to disease. Sunlight can combat this shortfall, but symptoms can also be relieved by phenelzine, a drug which reduces the break down rate of seratonin thereby increasing the amount in the body. Exercise and phototherapy can also be used by sufferers.
