It has always proved extremely difficult to accurately assess how many people are buying sound recordings or are viewing or listening to particular television or radio programmes. Compilers of the music charts believe that a new computerised system makes it very hard to falsify sales figures, but these charts are still seen as being very open to abuse. The system for recording radio audience numbers has recently been changed, while there are still very mixed views about the accuracy of figures for television viewing.

However, others are keen to become very closely involved in the whole process of making an advertisement. These include Harry Enfield, Mel Smith, Griff Rhys Jones and Rowan Atkinson, who have all taken at least some part in the creative process. Advertisers are now increasingly recognising that celebrities can make a contribution simply beyond their presence or their voice.

This will be aimed at men aged between 35 and 45 who are not currently reading any men's magazines. He emphasizes that Quest will contain intelligent, educational articles and will focus on real-life issues. He claims that existing magazines no longer have anything important to say.
