The sweet smell of healthy gums

Article Abstract:

Dentists in the UK warn that most people are far too casual about dental hygiene. Poor dental hygiene can cause periodontitis, loss of the bone round the tooth, which develops from inflammation of the gum. Dentists recommend that everyone should replace their toothbrush every three months, and also point out that most people do not spend enough time brushing their teeth. Every surface of the teeth should be brushed thoroughly and regularly, and dental floss should be used to clean between the teeth.

Never mind the hangover, the party can do you good

Article Abstract:

Leicester University personality lecturer Julian Boon believes parties are good for people because they allow the hedonistic part of them to emerge. Being silly and indulging oneself in ways which are usually unacceptable are alright at parties. Extroverts can hold the floor or entertain with jokes or make music. Dancing is therapeutic. London psychotherapist Martin Lloyd-Elliott believes it is a primitive ritual which makes people feel relaxed.

A reversal of fortune for infertile men

Article Abstract:

A new treatment known as surgical sperm retrieval could bring hope to many childless couples. It is suitable for men who produce sperm, but whose sperm cannot get from their testes into their semen, and can also be used for men who have had a failed vasectomy reversal. It combines two widely-used techniques, and requires minimally invasive treatment for both partners.
