The truth about pinhole glasses

Article Abstract:

Trayner Pinhole Glasses believes that its special glasses, which look like sunglasses covered with tiny holes, can bring about a permanent improvement in eyesight if they are worn for between 15 and 20 minutes a day. The glasses are claimed to encourage the ciliary muscles to grow stronger, thus correcting the shape of the lens. However, optometrists believe that there is little evidence that strengthening the ciliary muscles will lead to an improvement in eyesight. No clinical trials into the effect of pinhole glasses on permanent vision have yet been published.

All done for the love of logos

Article Abstract:

Many companies attach great importance to symbols of corporate identity. Some choose a logo featuring an animal, while other logos are in the form of handwriting. Some trademarks retain close links with their heraldic origins. Some companies still use their original logo, while others have invested extensively in revamping their logo and ensuring that it reflects changes in social and market conditions. In some cases, apparently minor changes have been extremely expensive.
