The truth about race and crime

Article Abstract:

Blacks and Asians are considerably more likely to be the victims of crime in the UK than white people. Indeed, a Home Office report indicates that many blacks and Asians now feel trapped by a fear of violence, and it is common for them to avoid participating in traditional British activities, such as attending football matches. They also feel that the police are indifferent to them, and therefore often fail to report incidents. Furthermore, they believe that they are targeted by the police, who are more likely to stop them and search them than they are white people.
