The members of the Wye Beagles Hunt are determined to continue with their twice-weekly hunt, despite the theft of 47 beagles by the Animal Liberation Front. They feel that hunting is a traditional activity that should not be banned by the government.

Island in shock after killer cut out heart of widow, aged 90

It is thought that the person who murdered 90-year-old Mabel Leyshon in Llanfair PG, Wales, lived locally. The murderer cut out her heart, and police regard this as a sign of mental illness.
