Article Abstract:

Slash, member of Guns N' Roses rock band, was a heavy user of drugs and alcohol, especially when the band did not have a concert scheduled. He grew up in a show business family and was introduced to drugs at an early age. Lead singer Axel Rose was disgusted by the stoned condition of Slash and other rock musicians. Slash finally underwent rehabilitation. Slash has starred on other artists' albums in the 1990s. He worked well with Michael Jackson but not with Bob Dylan. He plays on Spinal Tap's album with Jeff Beck and other stunt guitarists.

British black pop group Eusebe has been reasonably successful in the UK, but has gained a wider following in France with its mixture of rap and soul music. The group's work is characterised by versatile, articulate rapping and smooth sould music with funk samples. Many references are made to the group's hometown of Harlesden, reflecting its members' conviction that they should rap about things they know.
