Article Abstract:
Western pilots enforce the no-fly zone above Sarajevo but the Serbs will not let in fuel from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. They use human life as blackmail as they will not let a wounded child go to hospital. The Serbs deliberately damaged the water treatment plants. Mr Alifa Izetbegovic cannot sign a peace agreement or he would have struggled for nothing. Croatia is no longer safe as 140,000 Muslims in central Bosnia prepare to leave their homes. All towns in the UN area are being shelled or on fire.

Article Abstract:
'Islamist' groups in Algeria have carried out a number of attacks on leading figures in the art world, and seem determined to destroy the country's cultural life. They regard intellectuals as 'frivolous,' and accuse them of insulting the Muslim religion. Some Algerian secularists are now beginning to make comparisons between the 'Islamist' attacks in Algeria and the attacks on modern art which were made in Nazi Germany.
