Yo bro', what happened to my slice of the pie?

Article Abstract:

There was an atmosphere of excitement and risk associated with making 'American Pie,' according to filmmaker Chris Weitz. This was the first film that he and his brother Paul had ever made, but it proved to be very successful. He recalls that he relied heavily on the help of the crew, and he now misses their support. He greatly resents the fact that Director's Guild regulations meant that he could only be listed as one of the film's producers, even though he was actually a director.

Look back in anguish

Article Abstract:

There is no sense in worrying about failure, according to filmmaker Nicolas Roeg. He feels that the premise of his film 'Don't Look Now,' which is re-released on video on Jul 4, 1999, is that there is a vast chaos which cannot be controlled. He admits that he finds it hard to reveal his true self, but that he also greatly dislikes dishonesty. He believes that people reveal themselves through their work, and that his films give an insight into who he really is.
