Article Abstract:
Nine of the European Space Agency's 14 ministers voted to commit $3.5 billion to the space station before 2004 at an Oct 1995 meeting in Toulouse, France. A creative financing scheme will enable the participation of Italy, which had announced its insolvency in Sep 1995.

NMR maps giant molecules as they fold and flutter
Article Abstract:
The use of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy is enabling researchers to map the linear chains of amino acids in polypetides that fold to form biologically active proteins. NMR has the ability to access proteins in solution.
