Secret Service analysis goes to pieces

Article Abstract:

Broken glass plates weakened a US government case against Imanishi-Kari in which she was charged with fabricating data for research published in 'Cell' in 1986. The US Secret Service's forensic evidence purportedly showed that her data tapes were made before the actual experiments.

University consortium faulted on management, accounting

Charges of mismanagement and accounting abuses may cause the Dept of Energy to change or cancel its contract with Universities Research Assn, the consortium that oversees the construction of the Superconducting Super Collider.
