Chinese city to build aerial transportation system
Article Abstract:
The transportation system, known as Aerobus, which is akin to monorail in China, is a mass transit system consisting of vehicles suspended from a slender steel track, and the self-propelled, electrically powered vehicles travel below the track. A key advantage of the system is the cable-supported guideway, which is capable of spanning much greater distances than the conventional monorail.
