The National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory in Ashland, OR, was built in 1989 to aid the police in its battle against the illegal wildlife trade. Morphologists, chemists and pathologists compose the laboratory staff who work hand in hand with firearms experts to solve crimes against nature.
