Article Abstract:
Singer Lotte Lenya, who was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1898, was married twice to composer Kurt Weill, but had many lovers throughout their relationship. She played the prostitute Jenny in the premiere of Weill and Bertolt Brecht's 'The Threepenny Opera,' and also appeared in G.W. Pabst's 1931 film version of this work. She came to be surrounded by many myths, particularly in relation to her association with Weill. She became known as the genuine voice of Weimar Germany's decadence.

An extensive system planning and help from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) helped the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) to develop the environment impact statement in a short time. Effective planning, a scoping/screening method and travel forecasting methods helped DART to develop an alternative analysis/draft environmental impact statement (AA/DEIS) and a perliminary engineering/final environmental impact statement (PE/FEIS) promptly.
