A comparative analysis of EDI integration in US and Japanese automobile suppliers

Article Abstract:

The similarities and differences in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) use and integration between the automobile suppliers of the US and Japan are investigated. The results suggest that EDI integration has a positive impact on EDI effectiveness in the US, while there is no such relationship between EDI integration and EDI effectiveness in Japan.
