Fracture characterization of woven fabric reinforced thermoplastic composites
Article Abstract:
The strain energy rate of three woven fabric reinforced thermoplastic composites is presented. The delamination energy of the two materials, glass fiber weave (2/2 Twill, 8H Satin) and a carbon fiber (8H Satin), is compared to study the effect of weave and reinforcement on mechanical properties.

Effect of interference on the mechanics of load transfer in aircraft fuselage lap joints
Article Abstract:
A report on three-dimensional nonlinear finite element analyses to determine the stress state at rivet holes in fuselage lap joints showed that the effect was critical on the stress state of the fuselage splice.
