A new generation of small, passenger-car based sport-utility vehicles has emerged. Honda CRV, Subaru Forester, Kia Sportage, and Toyota RAV4 were among them. These vehicles were found capable of surpassing sudden transitions from slippery to dry roads during winter.

Aliens among us

Zebra mussels have disturbed the ecosystem at Michigan's Lake St. Clair. Introduced in the area by a northern European freighter, this alien specie has facilitated the growth of noxious seaweeds and has adversely affected the fishing industry.

2002 Dodge Ram

Article Abstract:

An evaluation of the 2002 Dodge Ram pickup-style truck is presented. This model features a chassis which has been re-engineered and upgraded V6 and V8 engines. The ride, steering and handling are much improved.
