Nuclear power plants are gaining importance considering their eco-friendly nature compared to the other power sources that threat the ecology with greenhouse gas emissions resulting in global warming and volatile prices. However skepticism prevails about the cost of building a nuclear power plant and precise projection of the power supply cost and also the management of waste.

Article Abstract:

The author discusses the devastating effects of global warming on the ice sheets that are found below Greenland and Antarctica. The findings show that these sheets on melting have the capability of raising the sea level to an extremely dangerous mark.

The limited appeal of nuclear energy
