Working in a vacuum

Article Abstract:

In creating a vacuum, reduced size and an absence of surface friction are critical to success. Care should be take to avoid implosion or at least, utilization of a shatterproof outer container should be employed. Sorption pumps are an ideal mechanism to make a properly functioning vacuum.

When hazy skies are rising

The haze sensors with light-emitting diodes can be utilized to monitor air quality. An atmospheric haze sensor called the 'Visible Haze Sensor was developed by Forrest M. Mims, III. The design of the sensor is discussed.
