Computerized prescribing alerts and group academic detailing to reduce the use of potentially inappropriate medications in older people

Impact of age-specific computerized prescribing alerts, on rate of dispensing potentially inappropriate medication in elderly people in United States, is examined. Significance of group academic detailing in improving the effectiveness of these alerts is also analyzed.
