The General Medical Health Rating: a bedside global rating of medical comorbidity in patients with dementia
Article Abstract:
The General Medical Health Rating (GMHR) measures medical comorbidity accurately. The newly developed test can be useful for patients with dementia on a global basis. GMHR ratings correlated well with several medical conditions, medications, and impairments of daily living activities. GMHR scores also predicted falls and mortality in long-term care patients.
