A randomized, controlled trial of comprehensive geriatric assessment and multidisciplinary intervention after discharge of elderly from the emergency department-the deed II study
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to know the effects of comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) and multidisciplinary intervention on elderly patients sent home from the emergency department (ED). The results of the study indicated that CGA and multidisciplinary intervention could improve health outcomes of older people at risk of deteriorating health and admission to hospital.

The medical interview: differences between adult and geriatric outpatients
Article Abstract:
This article investigates differences in the amount of time physicians spend with older and younger patients during the clinical interview. Findings indicate that there are no significant differences in the time spent with younger and older patients and that elderly female patients report less satisfaction with doctor visits than younger women.
