Determinants of self-management strategies to reduce out-of-pocket prescription medication expense in homebound older people
Article Abstract:
Elderly patients leaving for their homes are inclined to attempt at cutting costs of their medication exhibiting some behavior pattern or attitude to do away with the prescription medication. Physicians should be able to identify such behaviors and advise the patients on strategies to be adopted by medication rather than allow these patients to forego essential medication.
