The healthcare costs of sarcopenia in the United States
Article Abstract:
A study to estimate the healthcare costs of sarcopenia in the U.S. and to examine the effects of reduced sarcopenia prevalence on healthcare expenditures is given. The results propose that sarcopenia imposes a significant modifiable economic burden on government-reimbursed healthcare services in the U.S.
