Differing patterns of antiresorptive pharmacotherapy in nursing facility residents and community dwellers
Article Abstract:
United States Food and Drug Administration has approved many antiresorptive therapies (ART) for osteoporosis patients. A comparison of ART usage by elderly patients in nursing facilities and community dwellers is presented.

Pharmacologic treatment of geriatric depression: key issues in interpreting the evidence
Article Abstract:
Guidelines are given to help physicians assess the published literature on the use of antidepressants in the elderly. The outcome following antidepressant use is difficult to assess because other comorbid conditions can affect the patient's psychological state. Much of the research on antidepressants has been done in younger patients or in older patients who are otherwise healthy.
