Drop attacks in older adults: systematic assessment has a high diagnostic yield
Article Abstract:
A study on the causes of drop attacks in elderly persons is presented. Drop attacks can be used to diagnose cardiovascular disorders. Drop attacks or falls is a terminology used to describe sudden collapse in full consciousness accompanied with difficulty in getting up but without any circulation problems.

A study conducted to test the safety of the head-up tilt (HUT) test in older adults is presented. The study revealed that HUT is safe in older people including patients into their ninth decade.
