Hospitalization for pneumonia in the cardiovascular health study: incidence, mortality, and influence on longer-term survival
Article Abstract:
A study assessing the incidence of pneumonia amongst community-dwelling elderly persons is presented. The study also examines the risk factors and the mortality rates of pneumonia. The correlation of cardiovascular diseases with the risk factors for pneumonia is also examined.

A comparative study of dementia risks of elderly black and white race in United States is presented. Influence of factors such as education and cognitive test scores in inconsistency in reported differences between these races are also analyzed.
