Interventions to prevent aspiration pneumonia in older adults: a systematic review
Article Abstract:
In order to assess the effectiveness of the interventions for prevention of Aspiration Pneumonia (AP) in older adults, a systematic review was conducted. Considering the familiarity of the problem of AP in older adults, larger, high-quality randomized controlled trials on the effectiveness of preventive interventions are warranted.

A randomized, controlled trial of doxycycline and rifampin for patients with AlzheimerEs disease

The therapeutic role of doxycycline and rifampin in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) is studied. The findings suggest that the therapy may have a role in patients with mild to moderate AD.
