Cases of food poisoning seem to be more frequent, at least in part because foods we eat come from around the world now, rather than being grown on local farms. Suggested safety measures include washing hands frequently, being aware that sponges can contain bacteria, and cleaning fruits and vegetables.

Stopping strokes
Article Abstract:
The risk of a stoke increases with age, but there are preventive measures that can be taken. Hypertension should be controlled through diet and exercise, cigarette smoking should be stopped, and sleep should be limited to eight hours. These and other measures are discussed.
