New breakthroughs in the medical field will provide patients with more novel ways to deal with their pain and discomfort. Aside from new prescription drugs called COX-2 inhibitors that relieve pain without upsetting the stomach, there are new-drug delivery systems and a new generation of doctors who are more accepting of pain treatment's rightful place in the profession.
