Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to assess the predictors of hip-protector use in nursing home residents under usual-care conditions and after intervention, and provision of free hip protectors. It is noticed that 97% of the fallers in the usual group compared to 62% in the intervention group experienced at least one fall without hip protection.
