Prevalence and correlates of recognized depression in U.S. nursing homes
Article Abstract:
A descriptive epidemiological information on identified depression in nursing home residents is presented. Demographic characteristics, health care and functional data are collected using key informant interview and medical-record review.

A model for management of delirious postacute care patients

The development of a multifactorial delirium abatement program is suggested. This will be a novel model of care for older, delirious patients taken to postacute care facilities.
