The minimum data set pressure ulcer indicator: does it reflect differences in care processes related to pressure ulcer prevention and treatment in nursing homes?
Article Abstract:
Research shows that a minimum data set indicator is not an adequate tool for determining quality of pressure ulcer care in nursing home settings. The method was applied to 329 nursing home patients and assessed 16 indicators of care process quality.
