Changes in the espoused values of Australian organizations 1986-1990
Article Abstract:
The organizational documents of 85 Australian organizations for the periods 1986-1988 and 1989-1990 were subjected to content analysis to determine the frequency with which they adopted nine values, namely, authority, leadership, teamwork, commitment, rewards, normative, participation, performance and affiliation. The values were used to define the four prototypical values of Elite, Merit, Lead and Collegial which were then used for cluster analysis. A major finding was that the organizations shifted their focus on commitment.

Union commitment: conceptual changes in the German context
Article Abstract:
A labor union commitment scale developed mainly for labor unions in the US, Canada and South Africa was used to examine the union commitment of German labor union members. The results show that the focus on union instrumentality, union loyalty, pro-union behavioral intentions and union trust differed between German and Anglo-Saxon labor union members.
